Bad Bill Repeal
(if you're neither a member or supporter of either party concerned please consider deleting that part and send the letter(s) below anyway)
From Right to Life UK:
A major national newspaper has reported that Reform UK is expected to pledge that, if they form the next Government and the Leadbeater assisted suicide Bill and Antoniazzi abortion up to birth amendment become law, they will repeal these extreme law changes.
While we are doing all we can to stop these extreme proposals in the House of Lords, should they pass, this would open up a clear path for them to be overturned - if the next Government were willing to act.
That's why we are encouraging people who are members or supporters of either Reform UK or the Conservative Party to contact their respective parties and ask them to include this in their manifesto.
The Conservatives have already expressed their opposition to the radical abortion changes, issuing a two-line whip against the Crime and Policing Bill at Third Reading in the House of Commons, on the grounds that it was hijacked by the Antoniazzi abortion amendment.
Now, they must go further. We need the Conservative Party to publicly pledge to repeal both the abortion up to birth amendment and the Leadbeater assisted suicide Bill, if the Conservative Party returns to power - or forms part of a coalition government - after the next election.
PLEASE ACT NOW
If you are a Reform UK or Conservative Party member or supporter, please contact the party now to make it clear that you want them to urgently pledge to repeal these extreme law changes.
We've made it easy for you. Below are email addresses and suggested wording you can use. Feel free to personalise the message, but if you're short on time, please do send the sample message to them as it will still make an impact.
Every message counts. A surge of emails now could be the difference in securing these vital pledges.
Thank you for taking action,
Catherine Robinson

Dear Mr Farage / Reform UK leadership,
I am a member of Reform UK.
I was really encouraged to read newspaper reports that Reform UK is going to pledge to repeal the Leadbeater assisted suicide Bill and the Antoniazzi abortion up to birth amendment at the next General Election if these proposed law changes become law.
I am getting in touch to thank you for making this important pledge and to ask when this will be officially announced.
If the abortion proposal becomes law, it would no longer be illegal for women to perform their own abortions for any reason, and at any point up to and during birth. There has been no public consultation, evidence sessions, or detailed scrutiny at the Committee Stage regarding this far-reaching law change. Instead, the largest change to abortion law in over half a century had just forty-six minutes of backbench debate, then a ministerial closing speech in which the minister refused to take any interventions. It is deeply unpopular with the public, with just 1% supporting abortion up to birth.
A number of organisations and experts have made it clear that the Leadbeater assisted suicide Bill is a dangerous proposal that is unworkable and should not become law. This includes the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the Association for Palliative Medicine, the British Geriatrics Society, the Coalition of Frontline Care, Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse, a coalition of eating disorders charities, Liberty, Disability Rights UK, over 350 other disability organisations, the National Down Syndrome Policy Group and the head of the Government's suicide prevention strategy.
Both proposals, should they become law, would require urgent repeal.
Instead, the UK needs better palliative care for those who are at the end of their lives and more support for families welcoming a new baby.
This is a matter of great personal importance to me and will be a key factor in determining how I vote at the next General Election.
I look forward to your reply.

Dear Ms Badenoch / Mr Huddleston,
I am a member of the Conservative Party.
I was really encouraged to see that a significant majority of Conservative MPs voted against the Antoniazzi abortion up to birth amendment and the Leadbeater assisted suicide Bill last week.
I was also really pleased to see Kemi Badenoch issuing a two-line whip against the Crime and Policing Bill at Third Reading in the House of Commons, on the grounds that it was hijacked by the Antoniazzi abortion amendment.
In light of this strong stance, strong opposition from Conservative MPs on these issues and reports I have read in the media that Reform UK is set to make a similar pledge, I am getting in touch to ask that the Conservative Party pledges to repeal the Leadbeater assisted suicide Bill and the Antoniazzi abortion up to birth amendment at the next General Election if these proposed law changes become law.
