Died 24th September 1916, aged 23.

 Thomas was born about 1893 in Burnley, the Son of John and Elizabeth Ann Brennan. In the 1901 census the family consisted of John 42, Train Pipe Layer, Elizabeth 40, Catherine 14 Cotton Weaver, Thomas &, Winifred 4 and Ellen 7 Months, living at 29 Hart St, Burnley.

In the 1911 census they had moved to 56 Hart St, and his parents had been married for 26 years with 8 children 4 of whom had died leaving Catherine, Thomas, Winifred and Ellen.

Thomas left his effects to his father John,  of 17, Forest St., Burnley.

Thomas was buried in the Amara War Cemetery, Iraq: Grave Ref: VII.B.9.
