Died of Wounds 28th April 1916, aged 19.

The only thing I can find on Vincent is his effects record which he left to his mother Annie. According to the GRO there is no birth for a Vincent John Dacy 2 years either side of 1897 his purported birth year. The CWGC has his name a Dacy not Dacey.

Lived at 79 Waterbarn Street

Vincent was buried in Merville Community Cemetery, France: Grave Ref; VI.P.25.  Son of Mrs. A. Dacey, of 6, Albion St., Burnley.
