In Loving memory of Private John Macdonald Moore, of the 4th Royal Irish Dagoon Guards, died in France 24th May 1915, aged 20 years.

A year ago, 'midst shot and shell,

He fell a soldier brave;

He gave his life for the dear old flag,

His courage never failed.
