Killed in Action 16th November 1916. Aged 34.
Thomas was born in June quarter of 1882 in Burnley. The son of John Naughton and Sarah Kelly. In the 1891 census the family lived at 6 Craven St., Burnley. John 55 labourer, Sarah 47, Patrick 25 spinner, all born in Sligo, Ireland. John 20 weaver, James 14 miner, Mark 12, Thomas 9 and their niece Margaret Lachlan. All born in Burnley.
Thomas aged 29 was boarding with a Mark Naughton (relation?) at 30 Peter St, Burnley in the 1911 census
Thomas left his effects to his brother John.
Thomas is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France: Pier 6C
